History
The original building, an old school purchased by the club in 1981, was converted into basic self-catering accommodation comprising a living room, kitchen, bunkroom and limited bathroom facilities. Since then several projects have been undertaken.
The former bunkroom is now a separate dining room and five new bunkrooms have been added (the four downstairs rooms sleep 8 each in bunk beds, while the upstairs room is reserved for members).
Other extensions include a drying room and several extra toilets/showers with the most recent additions being a library and meeting room, which have been built into the roof space, and an additional gear store (garage).
Meeting Room
We have a complete meeting room, which is booked out as a separate entity from the rest of the hut, that is available for use by groups and the local community either for a whole day or part day. The meeting room has a small kitchen area where drinks and light refreshments can be prepared.

SRT Wall
The SRT Training Wall, which is booked out as a separate entity from the rest of the hut, is available for use by groups and can be booked over 3 slots during the day. Slot1 - 09:00 to 13:00, Slot2 13:00 - 17:00 and Slot3 17:00 - 21:00. The wall has an absolute curfew of 21:00 and must then be vacated and locked.
As stated, this is booked separate and the fact you may be staying at the school does not give automatic right of entry so if you wish to use it please book and avoid disappointment.
