For the 2nd trip of the weekend we opted for a drive back up onto Leck Fell for an exchange trip in Lost John's. So the awesome foursome split into two and taking advantage of the dry weather we did a Cathedral/Monastery exchange. Whilst Phil and Howard set of rigging the wet route, Lisa and myself made a start on Cathedral, as we were first to hit sink chamber we had time for a choccie bar before we saw the lights of Phil and Howard dropping their last pitch. After pleasantries we swopped over and made our way out to lovely sunshine again.

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
