Not another car when we arrived near Braida Garth.
Lovely day for a steep walk up a bracken overgrown path in glorious Kingsdale.
These once popular caves are becoming overgrown with thistles and nature has taken over the previously quite well defined paths.
We had a steady but efficient trip back down through the hill via Simpsons Pot as a pull through trip, being extra cautious to get on the correct side of the rope and all the pull downs went smoothly.
Not everyone fitted through the slit of Slit Pot one of the team didn't even try and went up and over on the insitu rope to then switch over onto our pull through rope, lockdown spread was blamed!
It was fairly dry, with the duck almost pleasantly warm, the water flowing down from Swinsto was incredibly clear.
Negotiating the crowds in the roof tunnel meant that we hadn't got Kingsdale to ourselves anymore, time go go drink tea and run the ropes through the washer.
Those along; Phil the Hawk, Lukasz P, Stu W.
Time underground 2 hours and 45 mins.

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
