Did an exchange trip, with novices in each group. Rob rigged the dry route and Richard the wet route. By the time Kat and I were at the top of the first 2nd pitch, Rob had already rigged to the bottom of the cave and come back out! Speedy von caver! He then left to go assit the 2nd group (turned out to be a good thing).

Kat did really brilliantly was a natural at SRT. Aced all the pitched, up and down without a problem. We didn't go out the wet route, as thought that dry would be more friendly given the circumstances, but was really nice trip. I think that Kat enjoyed it, as was keen to do another trip in the afternoon! Waterfall was in full flow and looked pretty amazing by the way.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
