The YSS contingent of the Mulu 24 Expedition are heading home now after nearly a month of Rainforest caving  in some of the  harshest terrain known to mankind.
Lots of stories to tell once we are suitably
recovered.

If anyone would like to read the dramatic story of the self rescue (a full team effort - no external assistance required) of one member of our Mulu 24 team after a slip and crippling knee injury in Cobweb Cave. please follow using the link to UK caving above. More installments to come.

The first of Mark's photos there Stu reminds me of the cover to Caving Practices and Equipment ed.D.Judson, a photo I think is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

That's me in the pic too, not wearing a dress by the way - but very baggy shorts over leggings - the cool look :-).

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
