With yet more grim weather, our options were limited. We eventually decided on Aquamole, a trip which Alan was happy with.
Turning up Saturday morning Sue was also there, so we had an extra person to share the load.
We packed for the alternative route and headed over to Kingsdale and walked briskly up the hill as the weather was more wintry than spring like.
We descended the entrance pitches (there are always more than I remember) and came to the beginning of the crawl (always longer than I remember). Perhaps this says more about my memory rather than the cave trolls adjusting the cave.
We went down the two short pitches to the head of the large pitch & then went up the in-situ rope and down the first pitch of the alternate route.
I decided at this point that we did not have time to do the final pitch, so we headed slowly out.
