With 6 of us keen for something a bit civilised we decided to break into two teams of three and do an exchange through Selgil.
Entering via the dry way were Evil-Stu, Claire and Wayne, and the Goblin Route included Phil, Keith and Fran.
The "wet" (Goblin) route didn't live up to its name as we remained remarkably dry as we navigated the pitches and a very fun traverse around a pillar. It was handy that Keith had prior knowledge of the bolt positions as I imagine some of the traverse ones may be bit tricky to spot.
As we entered the last pitches we could hear voices rumbling below from the dry team.
Phil and I decided to continue down and have a look at the true bottom of Selgil, via a duck and blasted section. We certainly weren't dry upon return to the main chamber.
Boots squelching, we set off up the dry pitches with Phil de-rigging. Both teams emerging at approximately the same time, to engage in a woolly hat hunt.
Not sure how long we were underground but it felt fast.
Emerging into the sunshine felt worlds away from the previous day's experience!
