An odd combination, I know, but I seemed to have plenty of energy today. Did Sell Gill via both the Goblin and Fossil routes. The Goblin differs slightly from the CNCC topo. The topo shows two single bolt rebelays to finish, but the first is actually a wide y-hang, followed by a deviation, and then the final single bolt rebelay.
Solo trip.

Having then done the fossil route, I drove over to Kingsdale and did Aquamole. Met a diver coming out who said he was the chap who had bolted up the aven and then found the way on which is now the pot. Compared to the Braemoor rigging diagram, I seem to remember that there is one more y-hang at the bottom of the Rabbit's Graveyard pitch. There are now three deviations in the big Aquamole Aven pitch.
Solo trip.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
