Very quick afternoon through trip with Jason and Emmsy, many pitches had been left rigged with climbing rope so we shot through at a fair old pace, only having to rig the slit pitch and next little one. Was a tad damp in places and the water had a chill to it so we did'nt want to hang about. Just what I needed to remind me why I love caving, having not done much due to the weather of late. I hasten to add that it had actually been dry the day before, allegedly.

Trip time 1hour and 15minutes, which included some faffing time free climbing to the roof tunnel!

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
