A very cold and wet trip enjoyed on Saturday by myself a few friends. Rigging was slow due to cold hands. Heavy rain meant that the normally dry entrance (fossil) was far from dry at all. The force of water entering goblin wet entrance was thundering in. Once down the first pitch a short diversion was made exploring the side passage just prior to the head of the second pitch. This warmed us up a bit. I believe there is a dig going on here? Final pitch was very wet and i was glad i opted on 3mm wetsuit under the AV :-)
Despite the weather it was enjoyed by all.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
