Fancied a bit of rigging practice so Sell Gill it was. Stunning morning, really warm so the walk up was hot.
Sat in the sunshine before kitting up fully. Nice trip to the bottom - zero waterfall as it was so dry. Went through to the sump as far as possible. Then back up de-rigging as we went. Back into stunning sunshine, walked down the hill, got changed and went to the Crown for a couple of pints of OP. Perfect.

Gary B and me.

Hello James, did you descend the last pitch and if so, what were the anchors?

I imagine Ian's talking about the pitch beyond the "sump" found by the Craven some years back. I seem to recall the anchors are badly-located spits.

Think you are right Damian, last time we did it a few years back we had to make use of some tackle bags to avoid rope rub :crylaughing

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
