4 of us managed to get a Friday afternoon trip in Swildons, started to do the round trip via Tratmans Temple. When we got to Shatter Pot it was here that Mark carried on with the round trip while we dropped a ladder down Shatter as we would need it later. Backtracking several meters we found the start of what was going to be our trip, this was fairly full on as we made our way up to and climbed Maypole Inlet. From here we carried on and after 2 pull thru's we reached the bottom of Shatter Pot. From there we went up the pre rigged ladder and made our way back out via Tratmans Temple, also managed to free climb the 20 for the first time. Probable the hardest 3.5hrs we had done in Swildons.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
