A trip using a Cambridge Climbing and Caving Club permit but nearly everyone on the trip was also YSS. After a slow descent of the pitch, the team happily explored Slug World, the Colonnades and the Graveyard. Three of us (Mike, Susan and Jane) also went some distance down towards Stake Pot, turning back when the way on became less obvious. Lovely trip that has whetted my appetite for further trips into Ease Ghyll.

YSS members on trip: Jane, Mike, Susan, Gordon Scott, Chris Ludford, Keith Biner

Time: much too long for such a short trip!!!

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
