None of us had done this trip before so we were well up for it, parked up at the MCG hut to meet our leader for the day and to get kitted up. Then we were off and after a 10min walk we was at the entrance, ready for the off with Jude leading the way. The entrance series made you work for it with plenty of flat out crawls, wet bits and strenuous boulder chokes, but once through all this we hit the big streamway which was certainly easier going. We also learned all about the history of the cave with Jude giving a running commentary and at times a few pointers to ease progress. At the end off the streamway we followed west passage and after a few more tricky bits we arrived at our destination, Neverland.
At this point it was strip off to undersuit and wellies to make sure we took no mud in with us, to say the pretties are amazing is an understatement it is absolutely stunning and well worth the effort it takes to get there. The only option then was to retrace our steps for the enjoyment of the entrance series again.
Trip time 4hrs
Ales Hrabec, Bean, Jude, Myself
Below is a link to a short clip of some of the pretties, although it doesn't do them justice

Looks outstanding and comparable with the caves in Fairy Cave Quarry, is on my 'must see 'list.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
