As Jason fancied having a look at the sump with regards to possibly diving it. So, having obtained permission from the farmer, we went in for a reccie trip. After passing the entrance series, which is a little bit snug in places, it was fairly steady going apart from having to put a new spit in at Crows Nest 3, until we reached the lower section.
This does involve some thrutchy squeezes, gloopy mud and a duck, but then you arrive at the sump. Not the most inviting place in the world, but i am sure Jason might disagree.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
