Took advantage of the 4 wheel drive and saved our legs a little bit of walking :crylaughing, after parking at the stile and a quick cold change it was just a short walk up to Marble Steps. We decided on the easy way in so dropped the Gulley Route. Did the sneaky short cut to miss out the next pitch and get to the bottom of the Main Chamber, from there it was on to Stink Pot and the short traverse to the top of the 90. Steady going then all the way to the bottom from there we had a look upstream and then a quick look downstream at the sump. After a steady prussik out it was a quick walk back to the truck and an even colder session getting changed.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
