As a few of the team were feeling it from Saturdays trip and we wanted an early finish, we opted for a Simpsons pull thru, very quite in Kingsdale when we arrived so no trouble this time finding somewhere to park. After the short sharp walk up the hill and walking straight to the entrance we headed underground. In situ ropes on the first two pitches so we were beginning to thing our luck was in, this was short lived though as nothing else had rope on it. Fairly steady going to Slit Pot apart from getting the usual cold wet soak ing at the duck. At Slit Pot we decided to go over the top instead of wasting time trying to all get through the Slit, some got a tad damp on the last little pitch before we made our way through the boulders to make our way out. Fixed rope on Pitch up to gain Valley entrance saving a bit more time, and some easy caving to the exit alas not such a nice day as Saturday so a bit chilly getting changed.
