With a few spare hours before a Committee Meeting, I thought I'd pop down Sunset. Not been for a good few years and it's on my list of trips to revisit before taking Sophie there in the next year or so.
All very uneventful, but Sunset definitely lived up to expectations. Did all the climbs 'over the top' using the wetter-weather anchors but wasn't persuaded to grovel beyond the bottom chamber.
Back to the surface just in time for the last glimmers of a beautiful red sunset.
Party: a bit of a loner - just me!
Time: 1 hr

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
