Rowter Farm is not the best place to be getting your kit off in freezing conditions, but 3 off us braved the elements for a trip into JH. Several boxes were ticked, the first one being a free ride as it was already rigged and the other 2 boxes were that Stephen and Alex hadn't bottomed it before. Standard tourist trip to the bottom then just dropped through the Boulder Piles to look at Speedwell Canal, Water levels had dropped significantly since Lisa, Phil and Myself passed through on Saturday. From here it was a steady prussic out to brave the elements for a second time.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
