A one hour walk in, 12 pitches to rig and derig plus 3 handlines making a total of 15 ropes (250m of rope in total) followed by another hours walk back to the car in the hail.  A grand day out for the youth section of the YSS.  It’s a good trip with some fine decoration half way down.  At the bottom there’s a small puddle in a tight rift which I’m told is the sump.  On the way out it started to become type 2 fun – I think a slightly larger team would have made it type 1 fun all the way.Team: Long Bob, Dave C, Paul M

I thought it was type 2 fun all the way, possibly type 3 at the top of the second pitch on the way out.
Attached are a few photos mainly of the formations.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
