Steady trip in Peak on the Saturday, made our way along Upper Gallery to Surprise View and onto Buxton Sump. From there we retraced our steps to head towards Far Sump, turning off before to have some muddy fun in the Galena Circuit and pop out top side of Surprise View. Then it was a quick side trip into Treasury and a look at the start of the Trenches before heading out with the obligatory stop off to wash off before exiting the show cave. We promised them Wet, Cold and Mud and we certainly had our fair share of all three.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
