With only three participants, Penyghent Pot became Swinstow pull-through with a side tour up Turbury inlet.
We quickly got down to the split pitch and then down to Turbury inlet where we left out SRT kits and rope for the side trip.
We made our way steadily up to the obstacle which has twice thwarted my through trip. Although I did not get past it, I now know that it is the only really tight bit on the through trip, so I may be willing to push harder next time.
We returned to the bags, donned out SRT kits & completed the through trip to Valley Entrance.
