Having never looked at Boundary Pot, I was quite keen to give it a go. Ros was less keen, mainly due to the long walk and the young keen members in the crew?!
We wandered over the moor and up the stream and quickly found what we thought was the entrance. Having got inside and done a couple of easy climbs down we entered a short crawl and took the turning on the right. At this point Ros decided that she had had enough and left the cave.
Ade looked down the pitch at the end, but was not keen and so we backtracked and headed down the other branch of the crawl, which lead to a dead end (Pickwick Pot?).
Retrying the initial direction I went down a low crawl and down an awkward pitch which lead to a rift which did not look like the way on. We then returned (with reduced numbers) to the pitch at the end, which was not as bad as it looked from the top. It dropped into a bouldery crawl, which became clean washed after a short way, it then became a little damp and we decided to call it a day before we got lost and rejoined the rest of the crew heading for County Pot.

In County Pot we headed for Poetic Justice and Eureka Junction and then went upstream towards Stop Pot. On the way we encountered a line of cairns which took us to Straw Gallery and Holbeck Junction. We had managed to miss Stop Pot. So we retraced out steps and found it, with a cairn (I had sat next to) at the bottom of the slope.
We headed out via 4 ways and the Wretched Rabbit Streamway (I went the wrong way again) avoiding the damp bits near Eureka Junction. Near Poetic Justice it way Janis & Stu's turn to go the wrong way before we all go out of the cave and back to the hut in time for the meeting at 18:00 (it wasn't until 19:00).

Team: Ade, Dave, Keith, Janis, Lucasz, Ros & Stu
Josh did a solo trip in Lancaster which was also a limited success.

Time: About 4 hours plus faff

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
