A quick trip to the top of the 5th pitch, Sophie's first time down the 4th pitch and my first time beyond the bottom of the 4th for quite some time. All highly uneventful and efficient, but I did notice a significant change in the amount if water falling across the entrance to the horizontal continuation as the passage doubles back to the head of the 5th pitch. Something has definitely changed here in the past 10 years; it used to be this wet only in flood conditions!
