There were still a reasonable number of people up for caving on Sunday morning.
Damian was the first away supposedly on a visit to Bull Pot, which changed to Jingling at the last minute. He was accompanied by Sophie, Klaudia & Lukas.
Stu, Keith & Bean were off to look at Scanty Lardos. This was soon sacked off due to the water level. Ade, James & Dave had followed them only to meet them coming out. The latter 3 decided to do some prospecting in Tatham Wife.
Leaving more than enough for the trip to Shuttleworth Pot.
Ros accompanied us onto Leck Fell and then cycled home.
Paul rigged the entrance rope down to the new & improved shuttering (photo). They have done a really good job with it.
Lukasz then rigged down to the bottom.
We had a good wander around the formations before heading down to the sump. Some of us then went up to the Exercise Yard before we all headed out.

Team: Paul, Lukasz, Caiti, Matt, Oliver (CPC infiltrator), Robin, Alan & Dave.
Time: About 3.5 hours.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
