Down to only nine people for Goyden Pot on the Sunday.
After the long drive we assembled next to the picnic benches before heading over the road to the cave.
I had done this trip a couple of year ago and had brought the same description and survey. The words with my memory of the route worked well and we had very little navigational faff.
At Damian's suggestion I had brought a 10m rope, I'm not sure we would all have managed the climbs without it.
It was an interesting and varied trip that "just keeps giving".
Once we could see daylight, five of us headed back in to try to come out of Church Pot, a trip that I had done about 20 years ago. This time memory was not so good and we gave up. I think we were nearly there, but it remains for another day.
After the trip Ian found a better survey and drew the route on it. This will be good for future trips.
