Evening trip down Diccan. It seems it was Rich's first visit. Water levels were extremely low and all went well until we returned to the car and Rich realised he had left the keys at the entrance.

Momentarily I thought he had drawn the short straw having to go back up and get it. Then I saw the swarm of midges homing in rapidly on my head. Balaclava on and there was almost no skin left from them to get at. I upacked the ropes then, when Rich returned, changed very quickly and dived in the car .. only 18 bites on the arms the next morning!
