Another hot day and another 4 of us for this trip, walked over and dropped a rope down Lancaster then went over to County Pot. Again a lot cooler once we were underground, we had decided on going via the Manchester By-Pass route and once this had been located we were on our way. The rest of the trip was a nice steady bimble through the High Level route, with Stake and Fall Pot being no problem as fixed ropes in situ. Next stop was bottom of Lancaster for a steady prussik out into glorious sunshine.....
Trip time 4hrs30
Mel Owen, Lisa Wootton, Mike Skegg, Keith Mason

We will be at the next one -[GG] with brand new SRT kit!

If it's this Hot; We will have to get changed outside... will it be Bar Pot entrance? and then SRT or ladder?

Definitely SRT and we'll probably rig quite a few entrances.

See you then.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
