It may have been a tourist trip for you, it was a bloody epic for me. I'm still knackered. I need more practice and fewer cream cakes.:S Thanks again for a great trip :-}

Ditto that, thought I was going to die trying on Saturday, getting back up that 2nd pitch was sooooo hard. (And got the marks on my arms to prove it!)

All that was going through my mind was do or ......?! Hang on for dear life etc etc. Definately needed to improve my technique. Talked it through with Damian and then.....
... really quite enjoyed the last pitch!

It was something special looking up the main shaft of GG. Seeing the main chamber without the 'usual' winch crowd and floodlights was brilliant too.

Thanks Damian

I was on the alternative route following Keith of in through Dihedral and out via Stream Passage Pot. A fantastic days caving and a great BBQ afterwards.

Thanks to all who organised a great weekends SRT and the BBQ! :-)

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
