To save having to rig and derig JH, we had got permission to ride in on the Speedwell Show Cave Boat. Once at the Bottomless Pit it was into the Canal :( for the walk up past the Bung and onto Cliffhanger. Felt a lot better prussiking back up as we were now on good rigging, once up there we placed a few more bolts, tidied up the rigging and got the rest of the old gear down to the bottom. Then we retraced our steps back as far as the Bung, were we then made our exit out of Peak Cavern via Colostamy Crawl :(

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
