Although i had originally arranged this trip for MR Finch, he,unfortunately could'nt make it due to him having man flu :( .
So the rest of us went in through JH (no probs with Bitch Pitch), dropped down Leviathon and went through the Boulder Piles into the Speedwell Canal and onto the Bung. Next it was a steady prussik back up Block Hall and the tight crawl through Watt Passage. From here we made our way through White River towards the Ventilator, after pulling through on the three pitches all that was left was the Trenches, through the Treasury and Upper Gallery to make our exit out of Peak Cavern, after the obligatory washing off at Buxton Water Sump.
Trip time 4hrs
Howard Whittaker, Ann Soulsby Lee Langdon, Keith Mason

Man Flu :( what a let down.
Thanks for arranging the trip Keith, I was there in spirit, in fact you could probably hear me thrashing about on every re-belay.
Hopefully get chance to re- arrange soon.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
