Had 'fun' getting to the school -with the 3 peaks? bike race on. Despite later 10am start. I think about 50 cars passed me on the road to the school??!!

Nigel wanted to 'bottom' this one after struggling to find the entrance on a previous expedition.

No problem finding the entrance this time. Nigel was spot on.

We did abseil down the 'new' entrance, pitch and kept SRT kit on. Thinking we were going to find the 2nd pitch. Wish we had taken it off now.
(managed to find a muddy crawl which covered everything-SRT included)... oh hindsight eh?

Explored the left hand passage. After looking in quite a few different holes did n't quite find the last pitch. Returned to the junction went upstream just managed to climb the small waterfall to find it a bit tight (for me!) beyond.Returned to entrance pitch.

Freeclimbed out so SRT kit not required.

Thanks to Nigel for organising and leading; John? for access to Kit/school.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
