Arranged to go in with Jason as he was going to dive the sump, and help to get all his gear from the stash site down the last rift and through the duck to the head of the final pitch which drops into the sump. Once all the gear was through and sorted it was then back to the stash site for Jason to get into his dry suit and then back through the duck again to get him sorted and into the sump.
The arrangement then was for me to make my way out rather than sit there wet through and freezing having been through the duck 4 times :( , as he was going to be a couple of hours. And then Mike and Sam were going to come in later and help get him sorted on his return, so just had a steady trip back out to the surface which warmed me back up a little bit. Once on the surface met Mike and Sam so left them to it.
Trip time 3hrs30, Jason’s considerably longer

Not bad considering the Vis was shite, he managed to lay another 50m of line onto what was already laid

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
