As my daughter wanted to have a try at caving, decided on a trip into Giants. Suffice to say not many trips involve a Tractor but thats another story. Although there was a fair bit of water going into the cave, mainly due to snow melt we carried on and managed to complete the round trip through the Windpipe and the high level traverse route back towards Garlands Pot. Only thing i can say about the water coming down Garlands was that it felt like liquid ice as it hit you, having never felt anything so cold before. Also a big thanks to Column for giving his Sunday up to come and help.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
