As Rich had not been in JH before, we opted for this as our evening trip. Still plenty of snow about round there and the mist was dropping but we soon found the entrance.
Once unlocked we dropped two ropes down to make the exit a bit quicker, then it was a steady trip along the Cartgate, down Bitch Pitch and then the alternative route for upper and lower Leviathon. Once down all that was left then was the steady prussik back out
Trip time 2hrs30

Thanks to Keith for an interesting trip and Howard for the reassurance that, with water pissing in everywhere, \"its this sort of weather that could bring it all crashing down.\" Best not to look too closely.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
