Bit of a poor turn out for a YSS weekend, so it was just two of us that ended up doing a Titan to Peak via Colostamy through trip.
With all the shite weather we have had, we thought the duck might be sumped but it was ok. Although the Speedwell Canal was quite high and the Bung was very sporting to say the least.
Trip time 3hrs15

a superb trip :) thanks keith ;)
nearly bottled out of the trip watching keith rig the top of titan i had a sudden panic attack and thought i couldnt make it , a few words from keith along the lines of \" you better follow me down \" and off he went, oh dear i thought stood at the window to titan ive got to go now, what can i say wow what a fantastic space titan is thoughi must admit to not looking down on the first part once on the rebelay at event horison i had calmed down and had a good look round and down to were keith was sitting at the bottom , what a great feeling when i arrived at the bottom .
was glad to see no water in the duck ( great i didnt have to go back up titan ) speedwell canal was a bit on the chilly side and the bung took me two attempts watching keith take a deep breath befor descending the ladder the oh my god your havin a lauff fear took over again, failed my first attempt but did it the second try ,
the colostamy crawl wasnt as bad as i thought it would be , a great trip and one i cant wait to do again
cheers keith :woohoo:

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
