Went in Via Speedwell Cavern, having pre arranged a ride in on the last boat as we had got some new rope to take in for replacing the Traverses and Y hangs on the Pull Throughs in the Ventilator
After leaving the boat at the Bottomless Pit it was a short walk along the Canal to the Bung, once down this it was then a steady prussick up Block Hall and a quick trip through WRS to the top of the Ventilator. Once all the ropes had been swapped we did a quick pull through and made our way out via Peak Cavern
Trip time 4hrs

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
