Trip down lower long Churn with three novices, one of which got a real good soaking at double shuffle to the delight of the party of 9 year olds coming back the other way 
. At dolly tubs we split into groups Andy and Neil laddering the pitch, Stuart and me on rope. Andys party then sat and enjoyed the stunning view of Alum Pot before returning to explore Upper Long Churn. Stuart and me continued down to the bottom of Alum. Tried a Pantin on the long pitch for the first time - im sold on the idea.
Good trip, great weather, good night in the Helly afterwards.
