With 5 trips in the last 7 days it has been a busy time - 2 of the trips have been to Low douk trying to connect Low Douk to Rift.Ireby & Large pots. Only a couple of metres to go. The other 3 trips have been to Scaredy Cow Pot near Uldale,a low passage is being followed with a good draft. Anyone interested in joining me get in touch,but note that they normally tend to be mid week trips.

I certainly want to get more into this digging lark, well at least not doing them on my own. Only a pity I work during the week :(.

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
