Ribblehead Caves
A trip for two prospective club members. Popped into Old Ing, Birkwith & Browgill, where most went on up into Calf Holes and back down again. Carol had a bit of an unfortunate incident with her knee, though, and she and I turned around half way.

We appear to have failed to put off the two prospective members, so they may be destined for a life of misery as cavers!

Party: Anthony ??, Glenn Axford, Alex Wallman, Carol Mullins & Damian Weare

Thanks Damien, Glenn appears proud and intrigued about caving, can't say an afternoon with me would have had the same effect.

Did you try Coppy Gill Passage? Me and that place have history.

Ribblehead?

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
