Solo trip to look at sump beyond NCC extensions, Set off down West passage cavern 44 + 104 to mitchels cavern back to entrance and down cavern 84 and cave pearl passage on the way back looked into NE passage No 2, there seems to be a pitch through the boulder choke along the right hand wall, will have to ladder this next time round. The choke beyond NCC extensions a bit on the hairy side, the condition of the supporting timbers suggest a great age 
. The sump passage gets comfortably small with the odd bit of squeezy/thrutchy passage thrown in. Passed a small chamber with HWCPC 1977 written above the water line, the sump soon follows and all i can say about that sump is 'good god'. It is going to be a challenging push.
