Good turnout, 12 in total as 3 had to cancel. Had an early start for a change, so we were in the car park changed and ready to go for 8.00. All ropes and boats still in and in good order, so saved some messing about and as for the Zip Wire, some people even had two goes. Rest of trip went with no probs and we exited into glorious sunshine.
Trip time 3hrs45
Dave Nixon, Kate Nixon, Klara Anna Capova, Column Walsh, Conner Walsh, Paul Geddes, Pete James, Ann Soulsby, Sharon Abbot, Alex Wallman, Susan Blackburn, Keith Mason

I know Bump enjoyed it but he was a little disappointed that he couldn't abseil and prussic himself. He said "I know I've done it, but it doesn't feel like I've done it because I didn't do the up and down bits myself. And I needed help on the bridge of death." So if there is another trip I better get bump trained up in the art of SRT

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
