After talking to Robbie and Mark from the Buttered Badgers who were at the YSS dinner, about their exploits in Rowter Hole, we decided to opt for this as our mid week trip. This was for 2 reasons, first Rich had never done it and second was to go and have a look at their dig. As we got there before them, we had a quick ferret around before dropping down to their dig, pretty impressive. We then hauled up about 12ish buckets of spoil for them before going and having a quick look at the Abyss then making our way back out.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
