Not a caving weekend so took our Sunday morning hangovers:sick: up to Mossdale, parked in Connistone and walked up and over the moor.
Stream dissapearing into the cave at Mossdale Scar was very low, but you got the impression of the trouble you could get into if it was to rise.
Would be hell of a walk in a caving suit too.
Perfect weather - hangovers cured:)

No Alex, you would stuff suits in rucksack so you were not seen to be caving in that area. not that you would wish to descend Mossdale as it is strictly off limits

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
