That was some bimble youth for two hours. You could have done Maskill in that time. Did Langdon slow you down :silly:

How did you guess Col :) you know what he's like. He also had Jo with him so it was a steady trip.

Hillocks was my first proper caving trip, And the leaders managed to get lost finding there way from the hand picked pitch to the bottom! then on my first Up Pitch I jumared into the knot on the first re-belay. Something thankfully I haven't yet repeated

Hillocks must be a very complicated system because I know two instructors who couldn't find their way through. We were going down the climbing shaft to meet them at the bottom but they never arrived. on our way out they shouted down the climbing shaft that they couldn't get through because Hillocks had collapsed.
Not sure were they went but but everything was fine last time I went in and I think Lee and Keith would have noticed somthing on their recent trip

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
