Carol , Michelle and myself had a walk up the valley up to Horton were we stopped for coffee and cake. then it was up past the train station and onto the hill to the signpost that points you onto the path to austwick. following what must be the longest straight wall in the dales we arrived above the old quarry, all there was to do then was climb over the biggest style in the dales and head down the hill to join the road near the old quarry houses and back to the school, passing the meanest bull ive ever seen that wasnt happy when we passed it
