Having sorted out a Titan to Peak trip for Amy and May, the day started off bad as Claire had forgot to leave the keys out for me to collect :( but after a quick call to Moose and picking up his keys things started to look up :)
Also when Tim Gould and his mate offered to go in infront of us and rig it using my ropes......bonus, so that just left the six of us for the trip. As we set off down Julie was a bit nervous about Event Horizan, so me being a gentleman  i hung about on the second set of hangers at Event Horizan and gave her some moral support
Once we were all down we set off for our trip through to Peak, steady going with a detour to have a look at Main Rising and the Miners Toasts, before turning round and carrying on to a very dry Bung. Once down this we made our way through the Short Bypass and onto the joys of Colostamy Crawl and the Trenches, after dropping into Treasury Chamber it was just a steady plod along Upper Gallery and the Mucky Ducks for the obligatory wash off before exitng Peak Cavern.
Also big thank you to Big Jim and Aunty Ann for derigging and locking Titan back up for us :cheer:
Trip time 4hrs30
Amy Finnie, May Yap, Julie Butcher, James Finch, Keith Mason

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
