Weather glorious so decided to do some prospecting in the area at the back of Victoria cave, Langcliffe. First looked into Dave and Sue Ryall's dig, then moved up onto higher ground towards the Gorbeck area. uncovered a decsent rift covered by the farmer this was noted as a possible future project. Passed wizard's and had a look into another YSS beauty, Wheel cave. A splendid rift passage surging down to the valley bottom, this was replaced back into 'the black book'. the camoflage placed back on top and we made our way back to the school in pleasant sunshine for tea and biscuits.

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
