Not the best of weather for a walk across to do a Titan trip as plenty of snow about and very low temperatures but 5 of us braved it in the end :)
First time in Titan for Samantha, but once we were at the bottom she did assure me that she had enjoyed it and would love to do it again :woohoo:
From the bottom of Titan we took a steady meander towards the bottom of JH, the only thing that could have caused a problem was the low connection to JH. But when we got to it, although there was quite a lot of water in it there was still enough airspace provided you went on your back
Once through the bottom of JH and down the Boulders Piles we dropped into a very wet Speedwell Canal and headed off towards the Bung.
We knew the Bung was going to be wet as we could hear it before we could see it :( when we were all down the Bung we made our way to the Short By-Pass and onto Egnaro Aven, from there we were now going to enjoy the delights of Colostomy and the Trenches. This was soon passed with no major problems and pretty soon we were back in Upper Gallery :)
From there it was just a steady plod out, stopping off for the usual washing off at Buxton Water as usual.
Trip time 3hrs30

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
