my first trip this year :)
left the school early for breakfast at inglesport and for Keith to spend some money, then headed over to kingsdale for my first ever trip into Jingling.
After sorting the ropes out and getting changed it was then game on as i chased Keith up the hill ( guess who won :( ) after a muddy walk along turbary road we were soon at jingling to do the traverse into the lateral cleft, Keith rigged the traverse and i followed him into the cleft it was then that Keith said i could rig down to the bottom. this i did while keith waited patiently as i was having my OCD for neat and tidy knots  .

I was very disapointed that there wasn't any rotting sheep at the bottom just a large pile of bones , after the last pitch was dropped we had a poke about at the bottom then started to head out.
i derigged the two bottom pitchs before handing over to Keith who derigged up to the traverse then Keith went out and and i derigged the traverse

We exited into the clouds so it was a very wet and foggy walk back down to the cars

trip time ? 2 hrs maybe

About

There are many club organised caving weekends, with a mixture of easy and difficult caving.  Over the past few years we have given lots of people the opportunity to experience caving with our "Try Caving" events.  These are quite popular and quite a few people have subsequently joined the club. We have YSS members caving most weekends so it is easy for new cavers to tag onto the easier caving trips and find people to help with more training.
